A Look Back

Frocktails is a room full of makers.

Last year, we celebrated the launch of our free sewing app Sewjo at OpenRoad Hyundai in Richmond. Makers showed up in handmade garments, cosplay, drag, historic costume, quilts, textile art, and pieces with stories behind them.

This year, we’re bringing that same community energy home to FABCYCLE.

What is Frocktails?

Frocktails is for sewists, makers, Upcyclers, costumers, cosplayers, drag artists, historic costumers, crafters, fibre artists, textile lovers, and anyone who loves making things with fabric.

It’s a night to celebrate the people who sew, alter, mend, costume, quilt, Upcycle, style, collect, experiment, and create with fabric.

You don’t need to be a professional. You don’t need the perfect outfit. You just need to come ready to celebrate creative community.

This Year’s Theme

Wear What You Love

Handmade, altered, Upcycled, costumed, mended, dramatic, practical, sentimental, experimental, over-the-top, or anything in between.

If you love it, wear it.

This isn’t a workshop. It’s not a generic fashion event. It’s a party for people who make, alter, save, transform and celebrate textiles and making.

Frocktails Comes Home to FABCYCLE

This is our second time hosting Frocktails, and this year feels extra special.

Frocktails 2026 will take place at the Sun Wah Centre in Chinatown, inside FABCYCLE’s own building. We’ll be taking over the LG level and transforming the space into a full Frocktails celebration for one night only.

The location is central, transit-friendly, and right in the heart of Vancouver’s creative community.

Parking is available on street level.

Ticket Policy

Tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another person if something comes up.

To transfer your ticket, please contact us with the new attendee’s name by August 13, 2026.
