We have been slowly collecting boxes, gift cards, patterns and all kinds of surprises at FABCYCLE, and now we can finally show you what is coming to Frocktails.

The Yetch Studio Spool Table
Value: $699.99 USD.($1200 CAD after duties) One Frocktails guest will be taking it home at the end of the evening.
Our grand prize this year is the incredible Spool Table created by Yetch Studio.
Designed to look like a giant spool of thread, it is both a table and a very large love letter to sewing. It is also a floor lamp with hidden storage inside, finished with a birchwood veneer top, colour-matched braided cable and a solid aluminum needle.
Yetch Studio was founded by designer and inventor Simone Giertz and creates thoughtful, functional solutions to everyday problem, with a playful and unexpected twist.
We cannot imagine a more perfect grand prize for a Frocktails Grand Prize.

We have prizes from fabric shops, pattern designers, sewing businesses, artists, educators and other lovely people from across our community. Some are joining us again after supporting our very first Frocktails, while others are participating for the first time this year.
How the prizes will work
A goodie bag when you arrive, plus prize draws throughout the night
Every Frocktails ticket holder will receive a goodie bag when they arrive, filled with contributions, special offers and other surprises from some of our sponsors.
We will also have a table of larger prizes. Each guest will receive a few prize tickets and can choose which prizes they would most like the chance to win. Put your tickets into the draws you care about, and we will announce winners throughout the evening.
Some of our sponsors will be at Frocktails too, which means you may get to meet some of the people behind the businesses, studios and designs below.
Your ticket includes a lot more than entry to the party: a goodie bag, several chances to win something lovely, and a full evening with our sewing community.
Dressew Supply
Dressew is an independent Vancouver family business that began in 1961 as Dressmakers' and Milliners' Supply House. Over the decades, it has become a much-loved destination for fabric, notions, trims, costume supplies and all kinds of unexpected sewing treasures.

Fabricana is a family-owned and operated fabric store that has been serving British Columbia's sewing community since 1970. Its Coquitlam store carries thousands of fabrics for garment sewing, quilting and home décor, along with patterns, notions, trims and other sewing supplies.

Liz Thompson is a Vancouver sewing educator who shares her knowledge across garment sewing, quilting, machine embroidery, sergers, lingerie and bra making. After a long career in the sewing industry, she created Sew and Learn with Liz Thompson to continue sharing her experience with other makers.

Catherine is the creator of Catherine Sews, a YouTube channel with more than 150,000 subscribers and over 13 million views. A retired Home Economics teacher specializing in textiles, she combines decades of teaching experience with a passion for sustainable fashion, garment sewing, upcycling, and fashion travel.

Every contribution is another way for us to celebrate the people attending, the things they make and the businesses and educators that support their creativity throughout the year. Contributing to an event takes time, products, money and trust, and we do not take any of that support for granted.
La Movida Sewing & Design Studio
La Movida is a Vancouver sewing and design studio offering classes, workshops and special events for both youth and adults. Its programs cover garment construction and fitting, accessories, alterations, home décor and other sewing skills in a fully equipped studio environment.
One three-hour adult sewing workshop, valued at $105. The winner will be able to choose from any eligible three-hour workshop.
