What is webbing?
Webbing is a durable woven trim designed to provide strength, structure and reinforcement. It is commonly used for tote bags, backpacks, luggage, belts, dog leashes and collars, camping equipment, aprons, sporting goods and many other sewing and DIY projects.
What makes webbing strong?
Two pieces of webbing can be exactly the same width but perform very differently. Its strength and structure depend on the fibre, the number and thickness of the yarns, the weave and how densely the webbing is constructed.
What kinds of webbing do we carry?
Our collection includes a changing selection of deadstock webbing in different widths, colours, textures and fibre types. Depending on what becomes available, you may find cotton, polyester, nylon and blended webbing for bag making, accessories, repairs and other creative projects.
Why deadstock?
Deadstock webbing comes from surplus materials that already exist but are no longer needed for their original purpose. The selection is always changing, and many colours, widths and styles are available only while quantities last.
